There was a period of time when  "Tow-In" was the way to get into 20-40 waves earlier.  However the resurgence of paddling into big waves has created the need for newly designed Guns. 

The newly designed Guns enable you to get on the face of the wave earlier.

This board is made to put you there.  Equipped with length, extra thickness and width, gets you in earlier.

The bottom contour has a little less entry rocker that tapers into a double concave with a spiral  "V".
